McIntyre now works as an Executive Producer of Film and Television in Vancouver, Canada.
A Letter From the Author
Dear Reader;
I live and work in Vancouver, Canada. I am constantly inspired by the natural beauties of this place. In one day, I can take a walk on a beach, or kayak on a still sea in the morning, and in the afternoon be hiking in a forest, or skiing down a mountainside. In the evening, everything a world class city has to offer is laid before me like a banquet.
Then the clouds will move in and the rains will come, and the atmosphere gets charged and dark. The ancient rain forest of cedars and ferns throws up a shroud of fog. It is the contrast that breeds intrigue, the conflict that showcases the truly beautiful moments.
I seek to bring this to my work. I write the stories that I enjoy reading, that I am passionate about. Sometimes the tales will grow dark, but it is this darkness that makes the light shine brighter.
Inspiration comes from observation, and experience. Pay attention to everything, for you never know where that next great tale will begin, that next great quest, for here be dragons; if you don’t watch, you will never see them.
All the best

Just finished reading The Exile and can honestly say that it was the best book I’ve read in a long time. I’m on my second go around and its as exciting as the first.
I am so looking forward to its counterpart The Rebel and was wondering if you could give a hint as to when it will be out!
Sincerely Yours
Colleen

It is really nice to meet you, at least by connecting here on twitter and on your website. I hope one day we have the opportunity to meet in person as well.
I am very impressed with your resume, your many successes, and certainly your amazing ability to describe your feelings with both a keypad and your voice.
Your Bio absolutely blew me away with your description of your home of Vancouver and British Columbia. It was like a beautiful poem. It was impossible not to want to read your books after that.
I hope we can stay in touch in the future.
Best wishes,
Ed Blazek
Thanks Ed!

Hello, I need help with my book. I want to publish it but I need someone to do a read of it first and I can’t afford an editor. Could you help?
Hi Tatiana,
A great way to go is to use a service like Wattpad to gain Beta Readers.
https://www.wattpad.com
Also Goodreads has a place that connects authors with Beta Readers.
https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/50920-beta-reader-group
Lastly, I found a book by Stephen King called “On Writing” that demystifies a lot of the copy editing process, that would be an excellent resource.
Good luck with your book.
